Infinity dessert at a restaurant with a tasting menu? I knew I had to check it out. Located in Time Out Market, it was quite a different vibe from most fine dining restaurants, but if you enjoy live music and the hustle and bustle of people gathering, it won’t matter too much.

We fasted all morning in order to try as much of the dessert as possible, so I didn’t really do my research for the actual menu itself. However, I was pleasantly surprised and quite happy that it was a very seafood heavy tasting menu. They started us off with the “Surf”, consisting of a prawns and scallops ceviche stye, mussel with crispy crunch and curry clams. Might have been my favorite bites of the night. Next, they brought out the “Turf”, consisting of beef shoulder that was served meatball style and croquette style. It had some light smoke and melted in my mouth. Then some tuna tare tare that was fine. A beetroot dish was next and it was not my favorite, I am not a huge fan of Beets and was actually the first time I didn’t finish a dish at a tasting menu. We then had a grilled octopus tentacle that had a yummy lemongrass paste. At this point I wasn’t even sure I would have room for dessert as we were only halfway done. And boom, they came out with a yakitori gyoza which is a glazed chicken stuffed with gyoza fillings. This almost sent me over the edge with how filling it was. It also came with a chawanmushi, which is an egg custard and they topped it with salmon roe. Absolutely delicious and a contender for the best bite of the night. They filled us up more with a crab arroz caldo that was warm and deep flavor. Then came the Wagyu Arrachera and I knew I would not go far on the unlimited dessert. However, I couldn’t resist to finish the tempura elote that paired with it(I am a huge lover of corn). Lastly, to prep for dessert, they gave us a mushroom tea to clean our palette.

So as I alluded the whole time, I unfortunately did not make it very far in desserts. I managed to get through five, but thankfully my partner managed to get to nine of them before he tapped out. See below for all the glorious desserts, which were all very good.

Overall, the food was very good but I’m not sure I would come back if it weren’t for the unlimited dessert as that was the main reason for going. However, if you like a challenge and a lover of desserts, I would totally check it out 🙂

Cheers!
