We tried the 14th best steakhouse in the world right here in Chicago, and wow. Despite no longer being a huge steak person, I have nothing but praise for the quality, hospitality and taste.
To be honest, this was our second time back, as the first time we were not super impressed. We went to a private dinner hosted by them, and due to its newness and not a regular service night, we felt that the service was off. However, they were gracious enough to invite us back with a carefully curated dinner by the chef!
And holy cow, they really pulled out all the stops. Super high quality ingredients that meshed together so well. Each bite was better than the last, but as it is a steakhouse, their steak really stood out. You know it’s a good steak when you don’t need to season it besides with some salt drizzled on top. I didn’t get a chance to take a photo, but their bone marrow mashed potatoes and red piquillo peppers paired so well with each bite.
It is definitely a splurge to come here, but if you’re looking to celebrate in style and have an amazing service, this is definitely the spot. Definitely plan on coming back in the future to try out some of their other dishes!
Cheers!
